President Mills will from today, July 28 begin a 5-day tour of the Western and Brong Ahafo regions. A statement released by the President’s spokesman, Mahama Ayariga says President Mills will meet chiefs and various interest groups in the region to deliberate on the economic crunch and governance issues. He will also use the opportunity to thank the people of the region for their support in ensuring his the 2008 election victory. The president is scheduled to end his tour on Saturday, August 1, 2009.
